When I moved to a virtual RE office, this was one of my first purchases. When connected to a late model computer it is super fast. I don't have a fax machine anymore, I can scan documents and upload them to a PDF faxing service I subscribe to which saves me from needing a 'land-line'. I scan anything paper, even magazines or brochures, drop 'em in and scan away. If I get a marketing piece I like, I scan it for future reference. I had a stack of old photos that I always meant to get to with my flat-bed scanner. I decided to try a couple and see how well it worked. I finished off a shoe-box full in a matter of minutes!
