7203 W Tapps Hwy E, Bonney Lake, WAN/AAllan Yorke Park is a popular community park on Lake Tapps. It is the biggest park in Bonney Lake. Its features include 3 baseball diamonds, a skatepark, a children's playground, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, an event stage and a snack shack. If you cross the street to the waterfront, there is a public grassy area for picnics and sunbathing, plus a fenced-off portion of the lake for swimming. The park offers free lifejackets to use while swimming.
The baseball diamonds can be reserved through the city - $7.00 for 2 hours and $7.00 for each additional 2 hours. Picnic areas can be reserved for $25.00 for groups up to 50, $50.00 for groups of 51-150 and $75.00 for over 151 people.
Allan Yorke Park also features a public boat launch and fishing dock. There is a launch fee during boating season, and the launch is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
